HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Hello Arieses, have you wondered about the origin of this ARIESKWEEN.MAG? Well, I am here to answer that for you.

Origin of the magazine: I have always been passionate about feminism and girlhood but it was harder than I thought to find a community that offered what I needed; an environment to both express your feelings and opinions on basically everything (from makeup and fashion to politics) and to hear about what fellow girls and women have to say. Therefore, it felt like my duty to create this exclusive space for Arieses to thrive.

Origin of the name: I struggled quite much thinking of a name fitting to the spirit of this magazine. Thankfully I do know a girl who embodies the energy this magazine tries to initiate wholeheartedly, and it just happens that her name is 'arieskween'. The name itself is not boring but rather spicy and cool, maybe a little bit too cool that no one really gets it. But that is fine, we will make them get it.

So shout out to "arieskween", this magazine is a tribute to you.

ARIESKWEEN.MAG purpose: It is my duty and responsibility to monitor this space to be inclusive towards all members so that we have productive conversations. As a contributor, an Aries myself, it is my responsibility to produce quality pieces of writing and opinions to participate efficiently with the rest of Arieses! It may sound too serious but the purpose of this magazine is to foster a space that allows girls and women to express freely their creativity, talents, and knowledge.
