Setting the winter mood with these movies
Something is so cozy about the brown and dusty yellow with hints of this movie's (moss) green color scheme. It is definitely one of my comfort movies just because the content is light-hearted and nostalgic, and the setting/vibe is superiorly soothing.

Love Story (1970)
Cute, romantic, cozy, sad, all is in Love Story. This movie fueled my desire to go to a big old-school university fall in love with a guy and meet his parents in a bright red dress. Besides the Christmas segment of the movie which obviously romanticizes the season, the darker and muted color scheme throughout, especially in the beginning with the autumn atmosphere is so pleasing to the eyes.

Eloise At Christmastime (2003)
So funny and so chic. A Christmas film surrounding Eloise, an iconic seven-year-old during Christmas with her nanny, in the infamous Big Apple, and more specifically, the Plaza. Thank god I discovered this film much later on in life because I swear I would be fuming from jealousy at seven years old if I witnessed how she spent her days (honestly I'm still very jealous now). Still, it's very much The Devil Wear Prada (or any fashion-centered rom-com in the 2000s) x Home Alone 2! Love love love it, I can't believe it's not a Christmas classic on every website's Christmas movies list.

The Children of The Noisy Village
I found this film through endless hours of scrolling Pinterest and I loved the aesthetic and the vibe of the film from those pictures I came across. It's a Swedish film that takes place across all four seasons, and this movie, it showcases the lives of these little kids and their families during autumn and winter. I could only find the full film on YouTube, and there was no translation so I just had to sit back and enjoy the visual (no complaints from me). It's just a slice-of-life movie that is very comforting to watch during this season.

That is all for now, I hope you all garner an immaculate seasonal mood with these recommendations. Comment if you have any other movies, songs, media that help you get in the mood for winter!
Xoxo,
