Sleepwear aesthetic: are your pjs simply pjs or does they reflect your lifestyle?

I believe that everything you do contributes to your "style" whether that is in the ordaniary fashion sense or in the more "life-style". And in a world where aesthethically pleasing lifestyles has become a very central part of social media and the fashion industry, we must start to examine our own habits and behaviours as well as personal items that define our enviroment, health and life.

What better way to examine this than look at our fashion in bed (i mean to go to sleep). Here are some collages that I have made that I think sums up mostly all the types of sleepers, and their style.

1. Romance rush
You are chaotic, but in a chic way of course. This is reflected nicely in your obsessiion/borderline addiction to prints, espcailly leoprd prints. So your night routine goes, putting on your leopard print slip dress, dim your leopard print lamp, light up your leopard print cigar because life is very stressful and indulgugin in something bad to relief the pain for a little bit is worth all consequences, and start the vinyl to "Is It A Crime" by Sade. On your thirfted, very techonoigally advanced spinning leopard print chair, you go circle in thoughts as rings of smokes fill the yellow tinted room. Good night.

2. Wandering vani
Polished. Clean. Perfect. You are a simple gal that enjoy the quietness of the moon and stars. After a busy day out it is in your best interest to make tie for yourself to cleanse out all that build up tension. The only thing you do in your night routine is take long, nice everything-baths with vani or coconut scented shampoo, conditoners, lotions, etc. Maybe you make yourself a cup of milk or enjoy scoops of vanilla ice cream all bunbled up in fresh sheets and clean body. Your bedtime uniform is a rotation of: wool baggy sweats + fuzzy wool top (long sleeves preferably), flowy silk dress and a long english teacher-esque  cardigan in case it gets chilly in the night, set of simple beige cashmere pjs. Good night.

3. Dazed haze
Whether you are a dark or light aura, you keep your sleepwear airy, like your routine, and like your ind. Some scented candles in lavander or coffee paired with a light drink of choice is your go-to for your faviourte bedtie acitivty, staring out the skyline faraway as you reflect about your day. Quiet and light, good night.

4. Pink hush
Self-care is the best care; your night routine motto. You undress into a pink set of cashmere pjs by Paloma Wool, sit by your pink vanity and does your skincare routine, which include moisturizer, toner, lotion, eyelash oil, eyebrow oil, lip balm, eye masks. You lay in your bed, comfrtale on your baby pink pillows and enjoy a rom-com as your rose face mask do its job. A nice rinse later on and your ready for the night. Sweet dreams.

That is all four groups. Really this is just an excuse for me to make collages of Pinterest photos...I hope that through this you are able to reflect back onto your own sleepwear as well as your night routine, see how it fits/work or does not fit with your day routine. A night routine is crucial because it is the time we have for ourselves to rest, to reflect and to enjoy the silence of the night. It sets the tone for the next morning as well. That is all for now, see you again soon.

Xoxo,
